parenting counts' child development timeline

Today, thanks to a tip from a friend at earlylearningtexas.org, I came a cross a really awesome developmental timeline that parents can use to track their child’s development. The timeline can be found on ParentingCounts.org and “offers access to research-based information about your child’s development from birth to five.” They have tabs for physical, social, learning and communication so you can see how your child is progressing in each area. It’s an easy-to-use tool that I think many parents will find helpful when or if they have questions about how their own child’s development compares to the “norm.”
Here’s the link to the timeline: http://www.parentingcounts.org/information/timeline. Take a look and bookmark it for future reference.
