As we begin a new school year, we look forward to an exciting year of educational fun! Country Home’s unique curriculum and facility provides a stimulating environment that enhances the learning process through the development of language arts, math, reading, science, and writing skills. Our science, cooking and art projects help children learn how to participate in a group setting. Our specialized learning centers help children explore their world through organized play. Gymnastics, dance and playground activities help develop motor skills, and our computer lab helps children become familiar with technology, essential in today’s information age. These skills are necessary for the development of a child’s capacity to explore the world around them.
It is important for parents to know what is planned for their children each week, so please note that lesson plans are posted in each classroom. Because of Country Home’s low student-to-teacher ratios, our skilled teachers are able to provide more personalized care for each child. To help us with this, we encourage you to communicate with your child’s teacher as often as possible.

Stay Informed

Available to you every month and located on the wall adjacent to the front desk double doors, are our lunch, breakfast and snack menu, age-specific Monthly Highlights (which showcase a selection of your child’s weekly activities), a school-wide newsletter and “Growing Together.”

Special Schoolwide Events

Fri. Sept. 27th: Wear Red Day
All classes from Infant through Excel will be creating a “Family Tree” in their classrooms. We are encouraging parents to provide a family photo for their child’s classroom project.
For more information regarding all of your child’s special events, please see our age-specific Monthly Highlights.

General Reminders

Please remember to sign your child in and out, either with our keypad system or manually at the front desk. The State of Texas requires that all children are signed in and out every day. Thank you.
For the safety of our children and staff, please remember to check your child’s backpack for any potentially hazardous items, such as medications or sharp objects.
