We want to take a moment and thank all of the families that took place in our holiday food drive. It was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s participation. Below is a letter from Jennifer Carter of the San Antonio Food Bank to Country Home’s Marketing Director Millie Freeman letting us know just how much food Country Home families donated and how much assistance that will provide for local families in need:
Dear Millie,
All the locations were picked up on January 2, 2013. Thank you for joining in our efforts in fighting hunger and feeding hope this holiday season! Your organization donated 941 pounds of food. This will provide approximately 735 meals for individuals in need thought Southwest Texas… Again, thank you for your support. We would not be successful in our mission without the support from our community!
