Summer Camp

Country Home’s extremely popular Summer Camp program includes all of our regular activities, our Kids’ Choice Special Interest Clubs, and regularly scheduled field trips to a wide variety of exciting local destinations (see examples listed below). Our highly successful, reward-based Reading Program encourages academic exercises throughout the summer, while our wonderful facility affords us the opportunity to explore various themed rooms (specialized areas listed below).
Each area encompasses unique opportunities and equipment for hands-on learning and fun exploration into the world of science, math, computers, language development, and dramatic and creative arts. Our children spend fun-filled days on the move, participating in activities that stimulate their creativity and spur their imagination!
Our wonderful teachers skillfully guide our school-age students through a variety of exciting destinations each day that include:
- Country Home Waterpark & Splash Pad: Our 18” (maximum) deep Waterpark includes a beach entry, a giant frog slide, and multiple water-spraying “creatures!”

- Adventure Jungle Indoor Playground: Our jungle-themed playground provides colorful climbing tubes, tunnels, slides, and an elevated tree house with drums, all in a climate-controlled environment!

- Large Indoor Gym & Basketball Court (most locations): With 24-foot soaring ceilings, our climate-controlled, indoor basketball court has hoops that adjust for even our youngest players!

- Country Home Theater: Amphitheater seating around a wooden stage is the perfect place for our children’s performances and plays! We also have a projection-style big-screen TV for movies!

- Computer & STEAM Lab: Our large Computer Lab offers instruction by a specialized resource teacher in the basic skills necessary for operating in a high-tech world. The lab, equipped with computers and electronic tablets, offers an extensive variety of software for each age level, encourages the development of hand/eye coordination, and enhances math and language skills that are introduced in the classroom. The lab also includes a variety of toys and materials related to coding, engineering, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Our preschool students also benefit from their own ABCMouse.com account, which can be accessed at Country Home, as well as away from school. From simple action-based programs to the more advanced education and reasoning games, the Country Home Computer and STEAM Lab provides never-ending challenges and fun.

Our Summer Campers are on the go every week! We visit a variety of exciting and educational destinations on campus and off campus, including the following (depending on location):

- Theater Arts & Music Appreciation: Such as the IMAX movie theater for a fun age-appropriate movie
- Putt-Putt Golf: Such as Goofy Golfing and Monster Mini Golf

- Taste of Life Experiences: Such as Glass Bottom Boat and First Touch Soccer Academy
- Game Centers: Such as Diversions Game Room and the Zoocade
- Adventure Quest in Boerne: Inflatable slides, petting zoo, miniature golf, volleyball court, softball field, and a general store with our famous Candy Corner!
Every week at camp brings a fresh adventure with a new theme! Our weekly themes guide our Summer Campers into fun hands-on activities, outdoor games, and imaginative projects. Each week’s theme sparks creativity, teamwork, and laughter, making every day a chance to explore, make friends, and create unforgettable summer memories. Our Summer Campers will experience a variety of fun games, team activities, exciting challenges, and unique interactive hands-on activities through a variety of attractions, including:
- LEGO Challenges: Campers will unleash their creativity with LEGO bricks as they design imaginative structures and vehicles. They’ll test their creations on ramps, redesign, and try again—building teamwork, persistence, and problem-solving skills along the way.
- Splash Games: An exciting addition to our amazing Waterpark! Campers will enjoy a variety of splash-filled games and water activities that keep them active, cool, and laughing all summer long.
- Champions League: Campers will build confidence and teamwork through fun sports and active games. With friendly competitions and skill challenges, every child gets the chance to play, learn, and celebrate their achievements.
- STEAM Missions: Campers will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on challenges like building structures, experimenting with electricity, and trying beginner coding games—sparking curiosity and creativity.
Through all of our programs, we seek to provide an extraordinary educational environment for your child.
Our After School and Summer Camp students will have many opportunities to grow—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Above all, we want each child to have lots of happy, adventure-filled days surrounded by friends!
