Did you know that central Texas, and especially Austin is historically rainy on Memorial Day? It’s true. In fact Austin gets rain on 75% of its Memorial Day weekends. That means that in addition to planning BBQs and horseshoe tournaments, you better have a fall back plan in case of rain, especially for the kids.
Since it’s Spring time, we figured letting them create their own May flowers would be a good idea. Just print out the image in this post. You can click the image to go to the full-size file so you can save it and print it. Then, the kids can color it, cut it out and glue it together. Soon enough you’ll have a fridge-worthy piece of Spring art ready for hanging.
