Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA)

Country Home Learning Center is now accepting Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) funding. In 2025, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 2, giving parents greater flexibility in choosing the educational environment that best fits their child’s needs. For the 2026–2027 school year, the Texas Education Agency has set funding for eligible private school students—including qualifying Country Home Pre-K and Excel students—at $10,474 per student.

This exciting program allows families to use state-funded education dollars toward approved private educational settings like Country Home Learning Center. We encourage eligible families to take advantage of this opportunity. The initial application period runs from February 4, 2026, through March 17, 2026, and applications are submitted through the Texas Comptroller’s Office.

Country Home Learning Center is proud to support our families by providing computer access and hands-on assistance during the application process.

Additional information, including a Parent Prep Checklist, can be found on the TEFA website.

Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA)

Country Home Learning Center is a proud licensed care provider with Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA). CCAoA is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the accessibility, affordability, and quality of child care for military families across the United States.

Through a nationwide network of more than 400 child care resource and referral agencies, CCAoA helps families locate licensed child care and access financial assistance.

CCAoA partners with the United States Military and Department of Defense (DoD) to support military families through Fee Assistance and Respite Child Care Programs, helping ease the financial burden of child care for eligible families.

Child Care Services (CCS)

Country Home Learning Center works with the Texas Workforce Commission and proudly accepts funding through Child Care Services (CCS).

CCS provides child care scholarships (financial aid) to eligible families to help cover part or all of the cost of child care. These scholarships support parents who are working, searching for employment, or attending school or job training programs. Eligibility requirements apply, and funding is determined by the Texas Workforce Commission based on family need and availability.

Our team is happy to help families understand the process and determine whether CCS may be a good fit.
