About Country Home Learning Center’s Exceptional Child Care Programs
“The best day care/ early learning center I’ve been to…I toured 7 schools in San Antonio and have used 3 other day cares in the past (I have 4 kids, ages 18-5 months), and this is by far the best in education and curriculum, cleanliness, parent engagement, student-to-teacher engagement… the list goes on and on.
They are Texas Rising Star Certified with a 4 rating, meaning they have the highest rating you can receive and because they are part of TRS, the school is continuously monitored with site visits from representatives ensuring the school is training teachers year round and exceeding the Child Care Regulations Standards. You will receive private-school teaching at a fraction of the price.
My son immediately started talking, singing, using his imagination more, and became very independent in the first month he was here. We saw a huge difference in his behavior and knowledge right away. He was excited to go see his friends and teachers, when we had not seen this behavior in the past. The directors have a camera system set up that is closed-circuit to be able to watch and keep an extra eye on the classrooms or look for teaching opportunities. The last two day cares I have used did not let me drop my children off after 9 AM, even if they had a doctor’s appointment, so I thought this was the norm at all day cares, but this one has an open-door policy and is so accommodating.
Their front office staff always know my children’s names and interact with us every single time we walk in or out of the building. It truly feels like an environment that makes the kids AND parents feel at “home.” While talking to different teachers and staff, I have realized that a lot of them have been serving at Country Home for 10, 20, or 30 years…which says a lot about the owners/corporate when a company has such a low turnover rate. Please, do your research! This is finally a day care I can trust and feel safe leaving my littles at daily.”
“We’re so happy with our children’s day care! The staff is nurturing and always makes us feel welcome. I have also noticed how clean and organized this day care is compared to others we toured within the area.
Our kids have so much fun on their trips to Adventure Quest and enjoy playing on the playground. The learning activities are well-planned, and we can see how much our kids are learning and growing. This place is amazing!
Each of our children has something they love about this day care, so I feel as though each of them feels valued and cared for on a personal level.”
“What a great place to send your kids! I have two little ones here and they are so happy and excited to go to school daily! The class programs really help them develop and learn so much more than when I had them at home. I appreciate the daily reports to know about their day and getting to talk to their teachers at the end of the day. The office staff is welcoming and helpful with any questions I have, and communicated well with me. As for Country Home, it is so clean and safe. I can tell it is cleaned often and sanitized well, which has been so nice during the pandemic. I know my kids will be so sad that summer is over and they can’t use the splash deck anymore, but I am sure there are other fun activities planned.”
“Country Home is the best! They have always met my expectations and helped my baby reach all of his first milestones. I love that they actually teach them and do activities with them. I’m so glad I moved him from another day care because they never did anything. Ever since he moved to Country Home, I’ve seen a huge difference in his development! Also, they are always so welcoming and caring towards the children & take care of any concerns I have. I definitely recommend it!”
“I can’t say enough good things about the Country Home Medical Center. We have been going for 11 years and have always been treated like family. My son started at age 3 and has aged out at 14, my daughter started at 6 months and is now 11, and she still attends the summer camp. Both of my kids are still close friends with kids who were in their classes at Country Home. My daughter’s two best friends were in the infant class with her and moved with her from class to class through the years. We still stay in touch with several of their teachers; they will always be a special part of our lives. It’s hard leaving your kids with someone else when you work full-time, but the relationships they formed and the love they received each day at Country Home make it that much better.”
