Cibolo Nature Center offers Kids Club at the farm one Saturday a month. With trails and activities for the whole family, there’s a great opportunity to explore nature and learn something new. Come early and also enjoy the Farmers’ Market!
The Cookie Fiasco Barnes and Noble Bandera will launch new books, The Cookie Fiasco and We are Growing! on September 24, 2016. Come and join the activities, coloring, and fun! This location also offers story hour on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Second Saturday Habitat Restoration at Mitchell Lake Audubon Center takes place on the second Saturday in September, October, and November. Families can work together to help maintain trails and ecosystems that keep Mitchell Lake naturally beautiful.

San Antonio Botanical Garden is offering drop-in opportunities to read stories, create crafts, or explore and learn about the beautiful gardens. The garden’s continued focus through fall is the monarch butterfly. “San Antonio is the only Monarch Butterfly Champion City, taking the National Wildlife Federation Pledge in 2015 to increase pollinator habitat.” Dates are September 10 and 24.
Doseum Family Nights are free on the first and third Tuesday of the month. This grant, underwritten by H-E-B, allows up to 1500 guests to be admitted completely free of charge to San Antonio’s only interactive children’s museum.
