Ringing in the new Year with kids means doing things a bit earlier than you used to. That doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun though! There are events happening all over San Antonio throughout the day end evening on New Year’s Eve that both you and your kids will love. Here’s a quick list of some of the fun New Year’s activities available to kids and families in San Antonio.
Celebrate San Antonio, has a free family-friendly performance on the  HEB Family Stage at Arneson River Theater from 6:00pm – 11:00 p.m.
The San Antonio Children’s Museum will have a Noon Year’s Eve celebration starting at 9:00 am. There will be a countdown to the new year at noon with a ball drop with a DJ, confetti and a sparkling juice toast. The celebration is free to museum members and $10 for non-members.
SeaWorld San Antonio will do a New Year’s Eve fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. that is included with park admission. You can also choose to purchase an extra  New Year’s Eve Extravaganza Package, which is an extra $25 per person. This includes reserved seating for the fireworks show, reserved seating at SeaWorld shows all day long, a souvenir mug full of delicious hot cocoa, and priority seating on rides all day long.
SeaWorld is also selling New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration Picnic. This is an additional  $44.99 for adults and $39.99 for children ages 3 to 9.  This bonus package includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and reserved seating in the Ski Stadium for the fireworks show.
