This year Country Home schools all across San Antonio and in Austin sponsored 171 children through Partnerships for Children who help deliver Christmas toys children with Child protective Services (CPS). We also sponsored 24 kids through Holiday Wishes. That brings the total count to 195 children who will be gettting Christmas presents this year due to the generosity of the families at Country Home! “Our parents help these needy children have a Great Christmas every year!” said Country Home Executive Esther Guevara.

Christmas Tree Donation
The Pre-K & Excel classes at our North Austin location recently took a field trip to the Elgin Tree Farm. As part of the tour, each class picks a Christmas tree, cuts it down and “drags” it back to be loaded in the bus. The kids picked 5 beautiful trees that the classes will decorate for our upcoming Christmas Open House. Each age group adopted a tree and we asked parents to bring decorations to fit a specific holiday theme. The themed trees will be on display in the gym during the Open House. After the Open House, each decorated tree will be donated to a needy family that cannot afford one. Thank you to all the thoughtful kids and parents at the North Austin Country Home that have helped decorate the trees and will surely make this Christmas a little merrier for a deserving family.
