This classic snack is so easy to customize, which makes it an easy favorite. Buy a variety of mix-ins in bulk, and let your kids create their own concoctions. This also makes a great party snack; set up a table for each guest to make their own trail mix.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Ritz Crackers

This sweet and salty snack is the perfect size for little hands…and big hands, too! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Ritz crackers
  • Peanut butter
  • Banana slices
  • Hazelnut spread
  • Chocolate chips

Spread the peanut butter and hazelnut spread on the cracker, then top with a banana slice and chocolate drizzle. We can tell you one thing for sure: these won’t last long! For a frozen twist on this recipe, you can also dip the banana slices in chocolate and freeze them.

Apple Slice “Cookies”

Finally, a cookie recipe you can feel good about! This recipe is similar to the one above, but you’ll use apple slices instead of crackers. Spread a nut butter of your choice onto an apple slice, then top with your favorite ingredients (coconut, chocolate chips, granola, etc.).
