It’s finally spring! We don’t have much time before the blazing summer heat starts creeping in, so we wanted to share some of our favorite springtime activities for Texas families! 

Dixie Dude Ranch
If you are looking for an unforgettable weekend or week-long trip this spring, Dixie Dude Ranch should be at the top of your list. You’ll experience gorgeous scenery, horseback riding, dazzling stars, and plenty of fresh air. 

Natural Bridge Caverns
The Natural Bridge Caverns are a must for every Texas family. You are your kids alike will be awed by the natural wonders, like nothing you’ve seen before. Take a cavern tour, try out the ropes course, and search for fossils. There’s plenty to keep your family entertained for the whole day. 

Peach Picking
Have you taken your family peach picking yet? Peaches are ripe until May, so you have a couple of months to take advantage of this fun and tasty activity. Check out where you can pick your own peaches in Texas Hill Country. And once you’ve picked your share, make this delicious peach cobbler

Celebrate Eeyore’s Birthday 
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 25th, because it’s time to celebrate Eeyore’s 57th birthday! Bring the family and get ready for lots of food, costumes, and music. 

Go on a Hike in a State Park 

Fall in love with Texas all over again by experiencing its natural beauty. Plan a day or overnight trip to one of Texas’ State Parks! Take advantage of the cool weather and go for a nice hike as a family. With 80 state parks to choose from, your options are practically endless! 

Admire the Bluebonnets
Texas is known for its stunning bluebonnets. But did you know that there’s a bluebonnet festival in April? There’s plenty of children’s activities, food, and contests for the whole family. And plenty of family photo ops!
