Extra Cheesy Pizza
If you love cheese, this simple recipe is for you.
You will need:
- 1 lb. store-bought pizza dough
- 1 tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 1 tbsp. cornmeal
- 1/2–3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 8 oz. sliced mozzarella cheese
- 1 and 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2–3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
- Dried basil or Italian seasoning for taste
Directions:
- Thaw out the pizza dough
- Preheat oven to 475°F. Place pizza stone in oven to preheat as well.
- If not using a pizza stone, grease a large baking sheet with ½ tbsp. of olive oil, sprinkling lightly with cornmeal for extra crunch.
- Shape the dough and roll it out on floured surface.
- Place prepared dough on pan or pizza stone dusted with cornmeal.
- Cover dough with plastic wrap and allow to sit for a few minutes.
- Push dents into the dough’s surface with your fingers to prevent bubbling, then brush the rest of the olive oil over the dough.
- Top with pizza sauce, followed by the sliced mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan.
- Sprinkle basil or Italian seasoning on top to taste.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Garlic Cheese Pizza
If you like a bit of garlic flavor to your crust, this garlic cheese pizza will be right up your alley.
You will need:
- 1 store-bought pizza dough
- 2extra virgin olive oil
- 2garlic
- 1/8salt
- 1cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2cup parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 480°F
- Garlic infused oil: In a small bowl, mix olive oil and garlic; set aside.
- Pizza base: Roll out thawed pizza dough, then stretch onto a pan.
- Top: Spread oil and garlic onto the base, sprinkling with salt, parmesan, and mozzarella.
- Bake for eight minutes (turn it after four minutes)
- Cut and eat immediately.
