San Antonio Local Halloween Activities
Looking for some great family fun this Halloween season that’s more treat than trick? You won’t want to miss these local San Antonio events!
The San Antonio Natatorium will offer a haunted swim as well a haunted house and maze, scary storytelling, a pumpkin patch, and terrifying tube races on October 22nd from 1-3 p.m. Designated for kids 12 and under, this family friendly event will delight more than fright. Dress in costumes for the occasion and bring your swimsuit if you’ll be swimming with the ghouls!
Bass Pro Shops Great Pumpkin Celebration is more than a great excuse to shop the mega store for all things outdoors. Each of the various events from October 24th – 31st features something different from free pictures with the Peanuts gang to crafts, face painting, hot chocolate samples, a costume parade, and trick or treating. You won’t want to miss all the fall fun here!
Morgans Wonderland More Delightful Than Frightful Halloween will let you in for FREE on Halloween if you donate three non-perishable food items between October 1st – 30th. Otherwise you can purchase admission tickets for $5 apiece on October 31st. Be ready to enjoy the rides and attractions, not-so-scary costumes, and trick or treating with emphasis on treats. This is a non-scare event, so bring you little ones and have a great time.
Enjoy ZooBoo! every weekend in October. This non-scary daytime Halloween event is fun for the whole family and is included in the price of your San Antonio Zoo Admission (or free for zoo members). Children (under 12 years) can come in costume to enjoy games, contests, the hay maze, trick-or-treating, and more! Adults can get in on the fun, too, but not masks please.
Get in the spirit and dress for the fun! Your kids will make lasting memories and might even share their candy with you!
