You can even create a pumpkin-themed day by enjoying some pumpkin pie and watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown after the race. Register for the race here.
Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival (October 19 -21)
This one-of-a-kind, educational festival takes place at The Texas Butterfly Ranch. According to their website, “The festival takes place during peak Monarch migration season in San Antonio, October 19 -21, when migrating monarch butterflies east of the Rocky Mountains funnel through Texas on their way to Mexico to roost for the winter.” Be sure to check out their website for a full list of the weekend’s activities.
This Halloween event at Morgan’s Wonderland is all about the fun, not the scary. Dress your children up in their most “delightful” costumes for a fun night of trick-or-treating. This event is for children ages 12 and under.
There’s a lot going on in San Antonio this fall, and we hope your family is able to attend whichever event looks most fun to you (or whatever fits into your schedule!). Don’t forget to enjoy plenty of apple cider and pumpkin pie along the way!
